Out of hours

(Evenings, nights, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays)

  • To contact the EMERGENCY 'Out of Hours' DOCTOR phone 0845 408 8000
  • A home visit will be arranged if necessary
  • You may, however, be asked to attend a treatment centre.
  • You may receive advice or see a doctor from another surgery
  • The 'Out of Hours' service is for URGENT MEDICAL PROBLEMS ONLY.
  • Other problems should wait until normal surgery hours when patients' records are available.
  • All advice, medication or other treatment given by the Emergency doctor, will be notified to us in due course, so we can update your records accordingly.

For urgent (non-emergency) problems during surgery hours

during the following hours - 8:00am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday.
Note that the surgery is closed between 1.00 - 2.00pm on Wednesday

One doctor is designated the “duty doctor” each day.  This GP deals with any emergency visits that need to be made and offers five-minute appointments for patients who need to be seen the same day.
