Patient Participation Group

The NHS wants patients to actively participate in discussions about new and existing services.  Surgeries are encouraged to have Patient Participation Groups to aid this process.  These groups are intended to provide the opportunity for open and constructive discussion on topics such as new or local services and health promotion.

Glastonbury Surgery has such a group and would like to raise awareness of this.  The group is now meeting quarterly.

We welcome suggestions for topics to be discussed and views from all patients registered with the Surgery.  If you would like a topic discussed or an issue raised at these meetings, please contact the group via the Practice Manager, who will put you in touch with members of the group.

Please note that this group is not intended for the discussion of specific personal complaints.
