Brief overview of the role
In this role, you will be providing general administrative support to the busy Reception Office in Glastonbury Surgery. Duties will include arranging appointments, answering the telephone and filing.
- Monday-Friday (8.30-5). Saturday shift on a rota.
- Total hours per week: 37.00
£3.70 per hour
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the Practice administration team may include any or all of the items in the following list.
Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Practice Manager, dependent on current and evolving Practice workload and staffing levels.

Glastonbury Surgery is a friendly, busy and dynamic GP training practice with a list size of 14,000 patients, 10 GPs and a large team of support staff.
We are looking for a nurse experienced in all treatment room procedures, (including phlebotomy, dressings, cervical cytology, travel health and immunisations) with an interest in chronic disease management and qualification in either Asthma/COPD or CVD.
