Most patients who are on regular medication will be able to request repeat prescriptions without the need to see a doctor*. Items not on your repeat list will need to be requested following consultation with your GP.
Below are the different options for ordering repeat prescriptions:-
- PHONE - this service is only available between 10am-12pm and 2-4pm. Ring the usual surgery number (01458 833666) and select option 4.
- POST – sending a letter or the repeat medication side slip request form to the surgery. Remember to enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you require the script to be posted back to you.
- IN PERSON – using a repeat medication slip available at the reception desk and posting it in the prescription box, which is situated on the reception desk.
- FAX – sending a written request by fax to 01458 836150
- ONLINE – Using our prescription order form or signing up to EMIS Access (which also allows you to book appointments online and is a more secure online service). Please send us a message using our contact form if you would like to be signed up to this service.

Patients who are on regular repeat medication and who request their medication before 2:30pm should be able to pick up their signed prescription from the surgery by 10:30am the next day.
If you would like to collect your prescription direct from:
- Glastonbury Pharmacy, Feversham Lane
- Boots Pharmacy, 39 High Street, Glastonbury
- Alliance Pharmacy, 2 High Street, Glastonbury
- Boots Pharmacy, Street (Vine Surgery)
- Street Pharmacy
- Sainsburys Supermarket in Street
Please fill in one of the registration forms that are available either at the pharmacies, or in the surgery. Once your prescription has been processed at the Surgery, the selected pharmacy can collect it from the Surgery.
Please remember to allow 3 working days (see table) if you are collecting your dispensed medication from a pharmacy, as local pharmacies have different arrangements for collecting repeat scripts from the Surgery, and to ensure they have adequate stocks and have time to dispense your items.
