Full maternity services are provided by the midwives attached to the surgery with the support of the doctors.
The midwives look after you throughout your pregnancy. They offer full antenatal and postnatal care, birthing classes and breastfeeding workshops.
After a positive pregnancy test, please complete a new pregnancy referral form (available from reception, or by clicking here) and arrangements will be made for a midwife to contact you and make an initial booking appointment.
Our receptionists deal with surgery appointments and are your link to the doctors and with the medical services the practice provides. They are happy to deal with all general enquiries but are unable to offer medical advice.
The practice secretaries deal with all referral letters and correspondence and provide the link between the surgery and secondary care.
The Practice Manager is responsible for the general organisation of the surgery and the co-ordination of the team in addition to ensuring that local and national policies are implemented.
If you have any concerns about the service provided within the surgery please speak to the Practice Manager.
